The anticipated Vivo Tab RT of Asus released on Friday (October 26, 2012) is really an interesting slate tablet. The Tab RT is designed with the Windows RT’s elegant and refreshing user interface. It weighs just 1.1 pounds, which is thinner and noticeably lighter than an iPad, making it easy and comfortable to hold with one hand. The tablet, which has a 10.1-inch screen with 1366 x 768 resolution and HD video-recording capabilities, measures 10.35 by 6.73 by 0.33 inches. There are also a microSD card slot, a Micro-HDMI port and a mobile dock latch on the left side of the device. Moreover, Asus’ Vivo Tab RT is equipped with a rear-facing 8MP camera to capture 1080p video, and a front-facing 2MP one with a LED flash. The Tab RT’s keyboard also makes users convenient to use because the keys are offered springy feedback and they are well-spaced. One more interesting thing of this 10-inch slate is that it has a 1.3GHz Nvidia Tegra 3 quad-core processor, which should appeal to plenty of customers. The Asus Vivo Tab RT will sell for $599 for the 32GB version, and $699 for 64GB.
